Lego still hasn’t made a Architecture Orlando set, so I took it upon myself to fill this gap in their lineup! Join me as I visit and build the Icons of Orlando, including: Universal Studios Florida, the Universal Globe, the Pharaoh’s Lighthouse outside of Universal Islands of Adventure, the Orlando Eye by Merlin Amusements, WonderWorks, and the SeaWorld SkyTower.

I was initially motivated to create this, because I saw that a 3rd party vendor had released a custom Lego set called “Orlando Attractions”

I have… multiple problems with this set. Going from left to right:

• Universal Studios Florida Archway is way too big compared to other structures
• Dezerland is defiantly not something most people think of when they think “Icons of Orlando”
• The printed plate for cities in the Lego Architecture series is usually on the front left of the build
• SeaWorld SkyTower is way too short (I do like the addition of the fish though, that’s cute)
• Disney World isn’t in Orlando.
